Open Question: How do i connect the playstation 3 to the internet.?
My friend has just bought a 80gb playsttion 3. he lives at the top of his garden and the wireless router is in his house bought 50 yards distance mayby closer. the router is at a top window sill in the house so is giving the best possible signal for his situation. The problem is that when he sets up wireless internet on the ps3 it picks up the signal (30% roughly), passes the wep pass code step then does all the neccersary stuff after that, but when he does a connection test at the end it fails on finding the ip address. It says something like the ip address timed out. If any one could help that would be great, but i dont think its the router signal because if it picks it up its picking it up rite. Plus it passed the access code step (wep code). Thanks for reading and any ideas of how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
Open Question: Does anyone else have this problem, or a suggestion for it?
My neighbour has a rather tall hedge growing in their back yard, and we need to put up a fence. The hedge isn't consistent, there's a bit of hedge and then trees, then more bushes and hedge... it's a mess basically. The people who were here before tried putting up a fence, but the neighbours garden has nearly knocked it over. We can't afford to leave openings because we have a baby, and even though we'll be outside with him, I don't want to chance him escaping. Maybe there's an alternative fencing solution, a particular way around these problems? I don't want to rely on my neighbours taking care of their garden, because I'm pretty sure they won't. Any suggestions?
